I just watched the new Rambo movie...
Although it lacked in plot, but who cares?
IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!

Hell yeah. I saw it in theaters, opening day. So bad ass. CHUD's review likend his presence at the end to Zeus on Olympus hurling wrathfull thunderbolts down on mere mortals. Such a good metaphor. There's not much action in the movie either. It's mostly a character film, and then this sudden explosion of violence at the end. It did well by the Rambo character.

Cinema has been missing a bit of the old-fashioned ultraviolence.

And I'm not talking lame shit like the Saw series, but friggin' hordes of extras being blown to all hell, in exquisite detail.
